Our Approach to Collaboration

The referring attorney's relationship with the client deserves respect. At the outset, we define the requested work, responsibility for client communication, scheduling, discovery access, courtroom roles, and the proposed fee structure. All arrangements remain subject to applicable ethics rules, client consent where required, conflict screening, and any necessary court approval.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take over cases entirely? We can discuss serving as lead trial counsel or taking on a defined trial role. The final arrangement depends on the case, the client's wishes, and the engagement terms.

Can you assist without appearing as counsel of record? Some consultation, research, and preparation assignments may be handled on a limited basis, depending on applicable rules and the nature of the work. Court appearances and representation responsibilities are addressed separately.

Can we retain you only for a DNA or fingerprint issue? Yes. We welcome inquiries about targeted forensic evidence analysis, motion practice, expert depositions, and cross-examination preparation.

How are engagements billed? Engagements are generally scoped individually. Hourly billing and certain project-based arrangements may be considered. Fees and responsibilities are confirmed in an appropriate agreement.

Do you work outside Orlando? We are based in Orlando and can discuss engagements elsewhere in Florida, subject to scheduling and case requirements.
