Jordan Holmes Law, P.A. is an Orlando based law firm that specializes in criminal defense. With a team of two experienced, trial-tested attorneys, we seek to bring accountability to the justice system. Our attorneys, Jordan Holmes and Joshua Sinclair, are not only attorneys, but are also Board Certified Specialists in Criminal Trial Law, recognized by the Florida Bar. This recognition showcases not only Jordan and Josh's dedication to criminal law, but also as their expertise in criminal law.
They both not only have a deep commitment to justice and fighting for what's right, but they also have the experience to back it up. Jordan has been practicing criminal law for over 10 years and became a Board Certified Specialist in Criminal Trial Law in 2024, demonstrating her expertise and commitment to criminal defense. Joshua has been practicing nearly 10 years and became a Board-Certified Specialist in Criminal Trial Law in 2023. Both attorneys have extensive experience in complex trials, filing and arguing Motions to Suppress, Motions to Dismiss, and various other Motions.
Jordan has successfully filed and argued numerous motions to suppress, effectively challenging unlawful evidence and procedural violations in criminal cases. She is recognized for her aggressive and creative approach to litigation in the courtroom. She relentlessly fights for her clients, no matter the charge.
Josh is known for his creative legal arguments, his command of complex DNA evidence, and his consistent success in court. His appellate work includes the landmark case Dean v. State, 303 So. 3d 257 (Fla. 5th DCA 2020), in which he successfully argued that statutory changes reducing criminal penalties apply retroactively to defendants who have not yet been sentenced—an argument that established new Florida law.
Jordan and Josh have each handled thousands of criminal cases, ranging from traffic offenses to the most serious felonies carrying mandatory life sentences, such as First-Degree Murder. Together, they bring extensive courtroom experience, having tried over 80 criminal cases before a jury. Their practice is defined by strategic advocacy, deep legal knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to defending their clients' rights at every stage of the criminal process.
